Born and raised in Northampton and now residing in Buckingham Township, Chelsey Crocker Jackman has called Bucks County home for her entire life. Chelsey has demonstrated her commitment to her community both professionally and personally through her many years of public service, and volunteerism.

Chelsey attended Widener School of Law in Harrisburg where she founded the school’s first Sign Language Society and earned the Outstanding Service Award. Chelsey was an intern at the Bucks County District Attorney's Office during her 2nd and 3rd year of law school. Chelsey made the long drive to Bucks County- sometimes daily- to show her fervent desire to become an Assistant District Attorney. She was hired right out of law school into the Special Victims Unit where she specialized in child abuse and domestic violence and prosecuted everything from retail theft to murder.

Chelsey spent over a decade as a prosecutor with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. She rose to Deputy District Attorney, working in both the Special Victims Unit and as Chief of the Human Trafficking Division—handling thousands of cases and numerous jury trials

child welfare

Meet Chelsey 12

From 2021 to 2023, Chelsey served as a Deputy Bucks County Solicitor and as the supervising attorney for the Bucks County Children & Youth Agency in dependency and juvenile courts. In this capacity, she was a fierce advocate for kids in the Bucks County foster care system. Additionally, Chelsey co-authored Bucks County’s first human trafficking ordinance during her time in this role.

Meet Chelsey 06

Chelsey’s parents, Dave and Colleen Crocker, still live in Northampton, where Colleen just retired from her practice of law, and Dave is a strategic business consultant and a football specialist coach at local high schools and colleges.

Chelsey is the middle of three sisters: Her older sister, Jessica, and younger sister, Lia, are her biggest supporters in their sister becoming a Bucks County Judge.
